In a unexpected crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.

The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana together with multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
